About

Ana Cross is a Falmouth University graduate in Press & Editorial Photography, currently based in East London.

At the age of nine, heading back from Thailand following the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, noticing the differences between the images released in the media in both Asia and Europe, Ana's appreciation for the power of the image began to grow. During her teenage years, a curiosity for the potential photography held and a passion for culture pushed Ana to begin teaching herself about photography, capturing places and people both back home and on her travels. Interested in finding the more personal stories, giving an insight into both the similarities and differences between the lives lived worldwide.

A visual storyteller, with main interests lying in Documentary and Travel photography, as well as editing and print work. Since working closely with designers to create Leel, Ana has developed a greater interest in the process of bringing the image from screen to print, whether that be in physical exhibition form or publishing, and the power print has in bringing a story to life.
Dating from 2009 to present, Ana also experience assisting in Art Departments for the BBC, ITV, Sky and Mustard Films.
